Alkaline Trio’s new album This Addiction is a return-to-form album, after expanding their musical boundaries with their last two albums. The album closely resembles older albums like Goddammit and From Here To Infirmary though a more polished album full of vaguely gothic and bloody references. This Addiction features some of the band’s most personal lyrics, from topics like drug addictions, love and relationships. This Addiction will please older fans of the band but may be lost to the fans of the previous two albums.
