Lungs is the multi platinum debut from Florence + The Machine, a brilliant indie pop album from the UK. Mystic art rock meets punk blues seems to be what Lungs is all about, add in some romance and a bit of perfectly juvenile lyrics and you a truly fun listening experience. Florence seems to be influences by artist like PJ Harvey and Kate Bush in a sense she abandons traditional pop structures and just makes songs that stand-out or cut. Florence + The Machine are brilliantly captivating performers with some very stylish songs.
