The Bloody Beetroots

Italian electro duo The Bloody Beetroots have bust into the club scene with their debut album Romborama. Songs like Cornelius, Warp 1.9 & Awesome can be heard in real clubs all over the world now mainly due to the fact that the songs are high energy, unique and jammed pack with thunderous grooves and chaos. While this album is defiantly a club dance floor album, it has enjoyed its share of commercial success with a bit of radio air time and two songs making the Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2009. Each song on the album does stick to a similar formula but the beats are almost infectious and the band can almost be forgiven for that. It is an enjoyable album but I can see it getting old quickly.
