Considered the best post-hardcore album of 2009, it was defiantly my favourite. Emery’s fourth album …In Shallow Seas We Sail is more than a ‘return to form’ album, it blows their previous albums out of the water. Well polished and far more mature, the band have really worked on their craft and paid more attention to the smaller details this time round. Every song seems to have multiple hooks while remaining passionate and at times raw, and add some very clean vocals to the melodic guitars you are sure to be impressed by this great album.
