Ok Go has Gone

Ok Go had huge success with the video of Here It Goes Again going viral on the internet. But like most internet sensations the fame is short lived and with the 4 year gap between albums the band is faced with both high expectations and the challenge of reclaiming the limelight. Of the Blue Colour of the Sky is the third album for the band which got the album’s name, lyrics, and concept from The Influence of the Blue Ray of the Sunlight and of the Blue Colour of the Sky, a pseudoscientific book published in 1876. The album fails to produce anything exciting except another quirky video for WTF. The power pop hipsters are sticking to the old formula of sing-a-long songs with some attempts to impersonate Prince.
