Temporary Pleasure is the second studio album from Tech-House band Simian Mobile Disco. Recorded over the course of two years, Temporary Pleasure offers copious vocal features from indie heroes and up-and-comers. The band has said that they have shaped each unique singer and emerged them with some exciting sounds. The album takes on the dark side of 80’s club music from Synth-Pop to acid house to produce an exciting album. While at times it feels like Simian Mobile Disco has over smoothed out the rough patches, this album is a worthy follow up to their incredible debut. Vocals include the likes of Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals), Beth Ditto (Gossip), Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip) and band Telepathe.
